Redmoon Theater Announces Festival J.O.E., 9/2-6

Redmoon, the Chicago based, civic-focused theater company is planning to launch the outdoor festival J.O.E., set for Labor day weekend, and is beginning city-wide guerilla performances that will lead up to the spectacle collaboration THE ASTRONAUT'S BIRTHDAY with the Museum of Contemporary Art, scheduled for September 2010.

The company is finalizing plans on the launch of the Redmoon Festival - J.O.E., ‘a Joyous Outdoor Event' over Labor Day weekend (September 2 - 6). September will also see the large-scale spectacle collaboration between Redmoon and The Museum of Contemporary Art, THE ASTRONAUT'S BIRTHDAY (September 9 - 26). Redmoon goes international with the critically acclaimed production of THE CABINET, currently on a four-city festival tour in Brazil through the month of June 2010. Redmoon's Teaching Artists are currently engaged in a month long education project in Donegal, Ireland which will result in a shadow performance to launch The Donegal International Arts Festival in July 2010.

J.O.E., the Joyous Outdoor Event, a festival for all ages, will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 6 - 10pm
Friday, September 3, 2010 at 6 - 10pm
Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 1 - 10pm
Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 1 - 10pm
Monday, September 6, 2010 at 1 - 6pm
The event will take place at the South Belmont Harbor - Belmont Ave and Lake Shore Dr, Chicago. The cost of the event is different depending on the day of participation:
Thursday and Friday, 6P-10P $25,
Saturday and Sunday, 1P-10P $15 thru $25,
Monday, 1P-6P $15,
