In DIRECTIONS FOR RESTORING THE APPARENTLY DEAD, long-time friends take a vacation in England''s Lake Country after life-changing events. As past and present overlap and intersect, they examine the origins of their relationship and the limits of it. The play explores marriages and relationships, gender and sexuality, and the time-tested bonds of friendship.
