Photo Flash: Patti LuPone Headlines Auditorium Theatre's 125th Anniversary Gala

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University celebrated its milestone 125th Birthday on December 9, 2014, exactly 125 years to the day that the National Historic Landmark Theatre opened in 1889. Check out photos from the event below!

The star-studded event was headlined by broadway legend Patti LuPone and hosted by Chicago actorJohn Mahoney. Dancers from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and the Joffrey Ballet, singers from the Lyric Opera of Chicago and The Apollo Chorus, musicians from the Chicago Symphony Orchestraand an "All-star Chicago Rock Band" featuring Jim Peterik, all graced the stage paying tribute to the diverse entertainmnet that has been, and continues to be presented at the Auditorium Theatre.
