Metropolis presents the Tony-winning play Peter and the Starcatcher through August 20, 2017, and BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

This wondrous tale is the grownup's prequel to Peter Pan, based on the best-selling novel. Discover the origin story of the boy who never grew up in this five-time Tony winner. Cleverly and theatrically told, follow the journey of an orphan longing to find a home and family of his own. Imprisoned on a ship bound for Rundoon he is befriended by a young girl, Molly. Together they embark on an adventure encountering mermaids, protecting treasure and outwitting pirates. Let your imagination take flight in this whimsical adaptation. Most enjoyable for ages 10 and up.

Metropolis' cast for Peter and the Starcatcher includes Ben F. Locke (Boy), Will Wilhelm (Prentiss), Ryan Hamman (Ted), Patrick Byrnes (Lord Aster), Sarah Cartwright (Molly Aster), Will Kazda (Mrs. Bumbrake/Teacher), ELisa Carlson (Captain Scott), Steve Peebles (Grempkin/Fighting Prawn/Mack/Sanchez), Cullen Rogers (Slank/Hawking Clam), Rachel Christianson (Alf), Michael Pine (Black Stache), Luis Cortes (Smee). Understudies include Nate Buursma, Jonathan Crabtree, Colin Funk, Gaby Labotka and Galen Schloming.

Peter and the Starcatcher is a play by Rick Elice, based on the novel by Dave Barry & Ridley Pearson with music by Wayne Barker. Directed by Lili-Anne Brown, music directed by Micky York, choreographed by Brigitte Ditmars. Designers are Ashley Woods (Scenic Designer), Adam Liston (Technical Director), Rocky Kolecke (Properties Designer), Joe Mohamed (Lighting Designer), Sarah Putts (Sound Designer), Rachel Parent (Costume Designer), Sammi Grant (Dialect Coach), and R&D Choreography (Violence Designer).
