Light Opera Works is currently taking enrollments for its 2011 Musical Theater Summer Workshop. Young people ages 8 to 15 will learn singing, dancing and acting in preparation for a public performance on Saturday, where family and friends are invited to watch workshop participants perform a mini-musical.
Five separate one-week workshops will be offered in 2011, based on a hit musical. Each workshop is Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a final dress rehearsal on Saturday at 1 pm and a public performance at 4 pm.
