Light Opera Works Announces Fall Season

Light Opera Works' 2016 season continues with MAME (August 20-28), LET ME ENTERTAIN YOU: Jule Styne'S GREATEST HITS Songs from GYPSY, FUNNY GIRL and more, (October 7-16), and DIE FLEDERMAUS (December 26-January 1, 2017).

The October Jule Styne concert will be at Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston. All other productions are at the company's home venue, Cahn Auditorium in Evanston.

Everyone's favorite Auntie Mame is eccentric, outspoken and totally outrageous. Mame's world is transformed when her young nephew comes to live with her in 1920s New York. Songs include "Open a New Window," "If He Walked Into My Life" and "We Need a Little Christmas" and "Mame."
