'Jersey Boys' Hits Chicago 10/5; Full Schedule Announced

Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, premieres in Chicago at the LaSalle Bank Theatre (18 W. Monroe) October 5, 2007 through April 13, 2008.  Due to popular demand, Jersey Boys has already added an additional 14 weeks of performances prior to opening, extending its Chicago engagement to six months.

Jersey Boys will star Drew Gehling as Bob Gaudio, Chicagoan Michael Ingersoll as Nick Massi, Jeremy Kushnier as Tommy DeVito and Jarrod Spector as Frankie Valli, with Craig Laurie and Jonathan Weir.  The ensemble of Jersey Boys includes Dominic Bogart, Lyndsey Cole, John Michael Coppola, John Michael Dias, Mike Erickson, Steven M. Goldsmith, John Hickman, Lauren Marshall, Kraig McCreary, Rashad Naylor, Jenny Lee Ramos, Jake Speck, Kara Tremel, Chuck Webb and Ryan Quinn West.  

Directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff, Jersey Boys won four 2006 Tony Awards including Best Musical and continues to break box office records at the August Wilson Theatre since opening in November 2005.  Jersey Boys is written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

"Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.  This is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time.  They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty," explain press notes.

Jersey Boys will premiere in Chicago at the LaSalle Bank Theatre (18 W. Monroe), October 5, 2007 through April 13, 2008.  The performance schedule is as follows:  Tuesdays at 7:30PM; Wednesdays at 2PM & 7:30PM; Thursdays at 7:30PM; Fridays at 8PM; Saturdays at 2PM & 8PM; and Sundays at 2PM.  There WILL be a 7:30PM performance on Sunday, October 7, Sunday, October 21, Sunday, December 30 and Sunday, February 10; and a 6:30PM. performance on Sunday, October 14.  There will NOT be a 2PM performance on Wednesday, October 10, Sunday, October 14 or Wednesday, February 6.  There will NOT be a 7:30PM performance on Tuesday, December 25.

Tickets for Jersey Boys range in price from $30 - $95.  A limited number of VIP seats are available at $125 for weekdays and $150 for weekends.  Tickets are available at Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (18 W.
