Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet announces its production of the all-time classic, Prokofiev's beloved "Cinderella" will perform at the McAninch Arts Center (425 Fawell Boulevard, Glen Ellyn) for ONE NIGHT ONLY on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on-sale on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 at 10 a.m.
Kenneth von Heidecke is internationally renowned for his work with major opera and ballet companies around the world and his production of the adored American classic, "Cinderella," features Kathleen Darley as Cinderella and J.P. Tenuta as the charming Prince. Kathleen Darley has performed Snow Queen & Arabian for Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet and danced for Lyric Opera of Chicago in von Heidecke's choreography. J.P. Tenuta has performed Snow King & Arabian for Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet and danced for Lyric Opera of Chicago. Legendary Prima Ballerina Assoluta Maria Tallchief, recipient of the Presidential Award twice and the Kennedy Center Award and director of Chicago's Lyric Opera Ballet, serves as Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet honorary Artistic Advisor.
