Chicago Academy for the Arts presents "Showcase".

Tomorrow's artists in dance, musical theater, visual arts, theater, media arts (filmmaking and writing) and music take center stage in Chicago Academy for the Arts' (CAA) Showcase Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 at the Goodman Theatre's Owen Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St. With students routinely moving on to such prestigious institutions as The Juilliard School, Parsons, The New School for Design and Oberlin Conservatory, the talent in Showcase rivals that of what audiences see on many stages throughout Chicago. Hosted by the CAA Parents Association, with Parents Association President Peg Cook and Treasurer Tanya Pietrkowski as event co-chairs, this event is a cornerstone of CAA's 30th Anniversary celebrations.
