Honorary Chairs Pat Quinn, Governor, State of Illinois, and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, along with the board, artists, top supporters and staff of Chicago Children's Theatre (CCT) invite Chicagoans to the company's 2013 fall gala Making a Scene, an incredible night out with an important cause - celebrating Chicago's #1 non-profit, professional children's theater.

This year, Chicago Children's Theatre's special guest is Motown legend Lamont Dozier, co-composer of Mr. Chickee's Funny Money, CCT's much anticipated world premiere R&B family musical debuting in January 2014.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to dine and dance the night away to a live band performing Dozier's and other danceable hits through the ages while supporting one of Chicago's most vital professional theater companies.

Making a Scene is Friday, November 8, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. at Germania Place, 108 W. Germania Place, Chicago. Tickets are $225 per person; $400 per couple. Sponsorship packages range from $1,000 to $10,000. To RSVP, contact Jonny Stax, 773.227.0180 x 25 or jstax@chicagochildrenstheatre.org.

All Making a Scene proceeds will benefit Chicago Children's Theatre, the city's premiere professional theater dedicated to young audiences and family programming. Proceeds allow CCT to continue producing the highest caliber professional theatrical and educational arts programming, while remaining accessible to all Chicago families.

Chicago Children's Theatre's board, staff and artists go all out when it gears up for Making a Scene, just as it does on stage to the delight of thousands of Chicago-area children, their parents and teachers each year.
