BEHIND THE CURTAIN: UNTOLD STORIES FROM CANADA'S TEAM BROADWAY to Play PrideArts

PrideArts has announced that Craig Ramsay and Catherine Wreford will present BEHIND THE CURTAIN: UNTOLD STORIES FROM CANADA'S TEAM BROADWAY for one performance only on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The cabaret performance will take place at the Hoover-Leppen Theatre at Center on Halsted under the music direction of Robert Ollis, an artistic associate of PrideArts.
Ramsay and Wreford, winners of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA, will share stories from their careers in musical theatre alongside live performances of Broadway songs and dance numbers. The evening will include behind-the-scenes anecdotes from productions including FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, 42ND STREET, and OKLAHOMA!, as well as reflections on their experiences competing on the reality competition series.
The production is part of the duo’s 2026 North American tour, which will continue through the summer and fall.
Ramsay began his career in ballet before joining the touring company of MAMMA MIA! and later performing in Broadway productions and regional theatre projects. His Chicago credits include MAMMA MIA! at the Cadillac Palace, CATS and HOT MIKADO at Marriott Lincolnshire, and the world premiere production of Stephen Sondheim’s BOUNCE at Goodman Theatre.
Wreford previously appeared in the national touring productions of 42ND STREET and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, both of which played extended engagements in Chicago.

BEHIND THE CURTAIN: UNTOLD STORIES FROM CANADA'S TEAM BROADWAY will be performed Monday, July 6, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hoover-Leppen Theatre inside Center on Halsted, located at 3656 North Halsted Street. Tickets are priced at $35.
