Andy Eninger is about to be plagued with multiple personality disorder-and he couldn't be happier.

GayCo Productions' founding member Andy Eninger presents his improvised solo show SYBIL opening Nov. 4th at 9:30pm at The Annoyance Theater (4830 N. Broadway). He shares the slot with real-life partner John Loos' solo show Adorable Disasters. The shows run Sundays through Nov. 25. Tickets are $10.

Named after the Sally Field film Sybil, where the actress played a character struggling with multiple personalities, Andy Eninger's SYBIL taps into all sides of his creative brain and creates a tapestry of unique, bizarre and uplifting characters.

Eninger takes an audience suggestion and improvises a new 30 minute solo show each week, spinning spontaneous scenes, songs and monologues about ladies on the brink, self-delusional men in dire straights, and unapologetically cruel children. Eninger is playful, wicked, and ultimately warm.

Says Eninger, "I discover the stories at the same time as the audience – I'm always fascinated, and sometimes a bit horrified, to see what bubbles up. Will the characters get a happy ending? Will I torture them? Will they find love? Will they break into song? I don't know until it happens."

SYBIL has appeared in various formats in short runs in Chicago and at international improv festivals since 2001. The show is part long-form improv piece, part performance art, and part parody of improv and performance art. This iteration of SYBIL will include weekly guest accompanists who will create an improvised soundtrack for the piece.

Andy Eninger is the Head of the Writing Program at the Second City Training Center. He is a founding member of GayCo Productions, and currently appears in the Annoyance's "Steamwerkz! The Musical" as Chester. He has directed many productions including "Bandgeeks! A Halftime Musical," "Little House on the Parody," "A Woman's Path" and "Rahm Zombie." He has taught solo improvisation to hundreds of actors all over the world, so this better be damn good.

Sybil (With John Loos' Adorable Disasters) runs Sundays Nov. 4-25 at 9:30pm. Admission is $10. Annoyance Theatre is located at 4860 N. Broadway, Chicago, Ill. Call 773-561-4665 or visit www.annoyanceproductions.com for more information.
