Executive producer Jonny Stax Presents, Inc., announces an extension of performances for The Scooty & JoJo Show's Alien Queen, currently in residence at Circuit Nightclub through December 18, 2010. Due to the critical and popular appeal of its initial run, Alien Queen will play three Saturday evenings in January, 2011: January 8, 15, and 22, at 8pm. Sound system difficulties that plagued several performances in the original run at Circuit Nightclub have been resolved.

Chicago Tribune's Chris Jones describes the show as a "parodyssey...of the very funny kind" and Chicago Sun-Times' Misha Davenport recommends Alien Queen, calling it "a royally fun evening out." Creator/director Scott Bradley puts his signature comic twist on the iconic sci-fi films Alien and Aliens and turns them into a live nightclub spectacle featuring the songs of legendary rock band Queen. Performed with large-scale puppets designed by Jabberwocky Marionettes and inventive costuming by Anna Glowacki, Alien Queen stars award-winning performer Ryan Lanning as action-hero "Ridley" leading an ensemble of humans, aliens, and puppets, with choreography by Jyl Ferhenkamp, and a four-piece rock band led by Nicolas Davio. Scooty (aka Scott Bradley) appears as the titular villainess. For more information, visit scootyjojo.com.
