Screen Actors Guild franchised agent, Kathleen Schultz, Kathleen Schultz Associates will give a seminar on "The Business of Acting", May 11th, 6:30-8:30PM at the Mint Museum, Van Every Theatre, 2730 Randolph Rd, Charlotte. It's an opportunity for those wishing to pursue a career in acting to learn about what is needed to be a professional actor including headshots, resumes, union eligibility, breakdowns, pilot season, and working in L.A., N.Y., the Carolinas and Atlanta with Q & A.

Schultz has been an agent in L.A. for over 25 years and represents actors for film, television, theater, and commercials. Schultz launched the careers of several young actors including Lorenzo Lamas, Emilio Estevez, Patrick Cassidy and Nicholas Brendon, of TV Buffy fame. She has placed dozens of clients in series regular roles on nighttime and daytime television, as well as major bookings in feature films. She currently has recurring actors on Young and Restless, Heroes, 24, and Lost .
