CAST Late Night Series - AvantVanGuard presents VENUS & ADONIS: An Erotic Poem by William Shakespeare. The show is directed by Tony Wright and runs through April 17 Fridays and Saturdays at 10 PM Tickets are $15

Venus is the Goddess of Love.

"She's Love, she loves, and yet she is not loved."

But Adonis does not care. He is not interested in Love, or Lust.He simply wants to hunt.
Venus uses all of her powers of beauty and persuasion to seduce the young Adonis in Shakespeare's famous Erotic Poem. The narrative poem will be given a rare theatrical staging in CAST's Morris Arena (Boxagon).

CAST's resident Goddess of Love, Jennifer Barnette (Aphrodite in Metamorphoses) will portray Venus. Another CAST favorite, Leslie Beckham (Metamorphoses, Some Girls, Laughing Wild) is Adonis. Their dangerous dance of seduction will be played out in the exclusive Club Boxagon. With only six performances and limited seating, you don't want to miss out on the most provocative show of the season.
