Curio Theatre Company kicks off its 20th anniversary season with the Philadelphia premiere of Larissa Fasthorse’s acclaimed comedy, The Thanksgiving Play. Directed by Tim Martin, the play explores the absurdities faced by a group of well-meaning white theatre artists as they attempt to create a culturally sensitive elementary school play about the first Thanksgiving while navigating their own biases. Running from October 23 to November 9, the production promises sharp humor and a thoughtful examination of representation.
