Strand-Capitol Sets Own Your Own 'Horse' Giveway for 'HOLY GRAIL' Fans

By:

Got a favorite Monty Python skit? The Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center wants to see you bring it to life! From now until March 31, the Strand is encouraging Monty Python Fans to pick their favorite Monty Python skit, act it out in a 15-second video clip, and share the video on the Strand's Facebook page using #MontyPythonWIN for a chance to win a horse! (Not really ... it is just a pair of coconuts tied together with a string ... but that doesn't sound as nice!) The contest leads up to the April 4, 10:00 p.m. showing of Monty Python and the Holy Grail as a part of the First Friday Late Night Films program by the Strand-Capitol.

HOW TO WIN? IT'S EASY!

1. Pick a Monty Python skit

2. Act it out in a 15-second video clip

3. Share your video on the Strand's Facebook Page using #MontyPythonWIN

Fifteen winners will be selected based on creativity, length and relevance to Monty Python. Entrants must be at least 18 years old, a United States resident and may submit more than one video. Winners will be selected on April 3 and can pick up their prize in the Box Office during regular Box Office hours or may send their address to asturm@strandcapitol.org to receive by mail.

To see a sample video submission starring Strand-Capitol President and CEO, Ken Wesler, and Strand-Capitol team members Anne Sturm, Mindi Haines, and Stacey Bear, or to see a complete list of entry rules, visit www.strandcapitol.org/event/first-friday-film-monty-python.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail will be shown on April 4 at 10:00 p.m. as a part of the First Friday Late Night Films program by the Strand-Capitol. Tickets are $7.00 and can be purchased by visiting www.StrandCapitol.org or by calling the Strand-Capitol box office at 717-846-1111.
