Hershey Area Playhouse Theatre Academy Announces Summer Performance Camp
The Playhouse's Theatre Academy will once again offer a June Performance Camp which includes grades 1-12. Each age group will be given a script and the opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform on the last evening of camp.
The focus for each group will be learning the Actors' Tools through fun and educational drama games, exercises and improv. Each student will work on in-depth character work, blocking and movement, and the details and nuances needed for great performance.
This year's camp runs for two weeks from June 17-28. Classes run Monday-Friday, culminating in a performance by each age group on June 28, beginning at 6:30 PM. All friends and family members are welcome to attend the performance.
Meeting times are as follows:
Grades 1-3 from 9AM-10:30AM
Grades 4-6 from 10:30AM-12:30PM
Grades 7-12 from 1:30-4:30pm
