In 2009, the Fulton Theatre production of LES MISERABLES broke all previous Fulton box office records and its sold-out run was extended two weeks. Now, it appears that history is repeating itself, and the Fulton is responding by extending the run of its upcoming production of LES MISERABLES until July 13, 2014, two weeks after its previously announced closing date.

Fulton Artistic Director Marc Robin, who also directs and choreographs the upcoming production says "even while the 2009 production was still in performance, audience members were asking me when is the Fulton going to do Les Mis again. So, when the rights became available again a year ago, Aaron (Young) and I jumped on it. Even though we produced the play just five years ago, that has not dampened Lancaster's enthusiasm for the show. Sales are actually ahead of where they were five years ago!"

The Fulton's 2009 production of LES MISERABLES had a cast of 28 to bring to life Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg's epic musical based on Victor Hugo's Romantic Era historical novel about the Paris Uprising of 1832. The upcoming production, which goes into rehearsal on May 15th, boasts a cast of 50, much of which comes from the local Lancaster community and only three of which are reprising their roles from the 2009 production.

Gregg Goodbrod (Broadway/National Tours: Thoroughly Modern Millie, Dolly Parton's 9 to 5; Fulton: LES MISERABLES, The Secret Garden, Romance/Romance) returns to LES MISERABLES in the role of Jean Valjean, the ex-convict turned benefactor at the center of the story. Also recreating their roles as the comically treacherous Thénardiers are John Reeger (42nd Street, Annie) and Paula Scrofano (42nd Street, Thoroughly Modern Millie). Joining them in the cast are Jeremiah James as Javert, Hanley Smith as Fantine, Grace Field as Cosette, Blake Stadnik as Marius, Gina Santare as Eponine, Steve Czarnecki as Enjolras, Sophie Miller Reusswig as Young Cosette, Tori Moss as Young Eponine and Vincent Crocilla as Gavroche. Other cast members include Sydney Leigh Allen, Peter Matthew Smith, Chad Coudriet, Herb Porter, Paul Jordan Jansen, Ben Cullen Walker, Jessica Dey, Andres Lincoln, Michael Deleget, Seth Garrett Antes, Jen Lobo, Sarah Biddle, Thomas Murphy, Bryon Thomas Smith, Liz Shivener, Monica DePaul, and Casey Furlong.

Extra cast members from the community are Madison Aicher, Kathy Becker, Kyle Binkley, Madison Buck, Joseph Chubb, Jordan Donaldson, Nicole Esposito, Caleb Heckman, Emily Homburger, Hannah Kirkpatrick, Luke Leone, Christopher Loreto, Jose Mangual, Brady Norgaard, Andrew Patterson, Sabrina Paulino, Becca Snyder, and Sophia Steed.

The artistic and design team includes Musical Director Aaron McAllister, Scenic Designer Robert Klingelhoefer, Lighting Designer Paul Black, Costume Designer Beth Dunkelberger, Hair and Makeup Designer Anthony Lascoskie, Jr., Sound Designer Jacob Mishler, Props Designer Katelin Walsko, Stage Manager Timothy J. Markus and Assistant Stage Manager Rebekah Lashof.

LES MISERABLES is Co-Sponsored by Capital Blue Cross, Dr. Wendell Funk, and KPMG LLP. The Fulton's 2013/2014 Season is Co-Sponsored by Fulton Bank.

LES MISERABLES will run at the Fulton Theatre from June 3rd through July 13th, 2014. Official press opening is Thursday, June 5th. Ticket prices range from $25 to $90 and are available through the Fulton Box Office at 717-397-7425 or online at www.thefulton.org.
