Think you know your Sherlock Holmes? Kate Hamill’s fast-moving, madcap, modern reboot is a fast-paced romp that re-examines the classic adventure stories you love with a bold new female lens. Join the world’s greatest iconic crime-fighting duo as they investigate nefarious scandals and interrogate sexy villains. So much fun, it’s criminal! County Players, one of the longest-running community theatre companies in the area, is proud to present the Comedy “Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2B” by Kate Hamill adapted from the stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This Main Stage production is directed by Parker Reed and opens Friday, July 5 through July 10 with performances scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays July 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, & 20 at 8 pm, with matinees on Sunday, July 14, and Saturday, July 20 at 2 pm. Performances are at the County Players Falls Theatre, 2681 W. Main Street in the Village of Wappingers Falls. The production features the local talents of Madison Anthony, Michael Frohnhoefer, Janet Nurre, and Steavie Hergenrader Reed. Of this production director Reed says, “Deductive Consultant Sherlock Holmes knows that ‘There is always a solution.’ Playwright Kate Hamill shows that every good mystery has a touch of comedy, especially if we turn the magnifying glass on ourselves. Bring your mentor, assistant, roommate, or friend; you'll definitely chuckle during the show, and you'll likely search for solutions – including human connection – after you leave.”
County Players, Inc. is at County Players Falls Theatre, Wappingers Falls, NY.
