ORLEANS:

Platinum hit-makers ORLEANS are now celebrating 50 YEARS of live performances! Praised and respected by their peers for their songwriting skills, instrumental prowess and classic trademark harmonies, their iconic radio hits, including “Still The One,” “Dance With Me” and “Love Takes Time,” still resonate with audiences of all ages thanks to continued airplay on Classic Rock radio, television, film and streaming services.

ORLEANS have produced a body of work spanning 17 albums and several DVDs ... and they continue to be in demand for live shows, as they have been for nearly 5 decades. Since their humble beginnings in Woodstock NY and throughout countless worldwide tours, Orleans have set some very high standards. Here in 2022 and beyond, Orleans continue to meet and exceed those standards at every show, to the delight of audiences everywhere.

AZTEC TWO-STEP:

"See it was like this..." The story of Aztec Two-Step is intertwined with the history of folk/rock music in America. Originating from a chance meeting at an “open mic night” in Boston in 1971, then taking their name from a poem by beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Rex Fowler and Neal Shulman went on to record four albums on Elektra and RCA Records that helped usher the music of the 60's into the 1970's and beyond, leaving an indelible mark on the musical genre. The duo performed worldwide, being critically acclaimed in major U.S. newspapers and reviewed in Rolling Stone Magazine. They appeared on radio and TV shows that included The King Biscuit Flower Hour, World Cafe Live, and David Letterman and were honored to win the New York Music Award for Best Folk Album for their 1986 release Living in America. With a career built on progressive FM and college radio and non-stop touring over five decades, the duo appeared in concert with The Band, Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Orleans, Donovan, Judy Collins, Jackson Browne, Seals and Crofts, Carly Simon, Heart, The Beach Boys and so many more.

After 47 years, Neal retired in 2018, and Rex and his wife Dodie Pettit are now the heart and soul of "Aztec Two-Step 2.0". Dodie was a session player on ATS's 1980 Time of Our Lives, is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, and was an original cast member of Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera. Together, with members of their new ensemble, they continue to expand and explore Aztec's musical legacy, performing ATS fan favorites and forgotten gems. With dazzling musicianship and harmonies, ATS 2.0 has recaptured the multi-layered dimension of Rex & Neal’s original studio recordings, offering an old familiar feeling, yet with a fresh and exciting spin. "The old songs done in this new lineup has brought new life to the music. This truly is a band that people need to experience!" - Ron Olesko, WFDU-FM/Folk Music Notebook/ Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club, NJ
