WPPAC Presents SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD 7/8-10

By:

Jason Robert Brown says, "it's about one moment. It's about hitting the wall and having to make a choice, or take a stand, or turn around and go back." These are the stories and characters of today, the SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD.

Brown transports his audience from the deck of a 1492 Spanish sailing ship to a ledge 57 stories above Fifth Avenue to meet a startling array of characters ranging from a young man who has determined that basket-ball is his ticket out of the ghetto to a woman whose dream of marrying rich nabs her the man of her dreams and a soulless marriage.

An Exclusive Premiere with a 30 piece orchestra!

Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown's hit show comes to life in a way you've never seen before; with a cast of ten exhilarating performers backed by a symphony orchestra in a fully staged production.

From the production team that presented last year's smash hit Edges, Songs for a New World will be produced as a co-production of the NEW MUSICAL THEATRE SERIES and WPPAC.

Featuring: Gina Gentile, Paul Ianniello, Travis McClung, Gina Noto, Triona O'Callaghan, Shane O'Neill, Matt Savoca, Emily Tarpey, Joe Venice and Alison Zaret

Produced by Terence Osborne | Directed by Jeremy Quinn

July 8 & 9 @ 8:00 pm / July 10 @ 2:00 pm

Tickets: $15 in advance | $20 at the door
