With a cumulative 130 years in the music business, The Hambones - John Kouri (Ringmaster General, lead vocalist & harmonica), Scott Milch (drums, vocals), John Pizzacarola (guitar, vocals), and Steve Soltow (bass, vocals) - perform a retrospective of what is arguably Bob Dylan's greatest album, "Blood on the Tracks", in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of its release and also Dylan's 75th birthday.

At first critically disparaged, "Blood on the Tracks" has subsequently been acclaimed as one of Dylan's finest; Rolling Stone ranks it as #16 on its list of 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In this concert, The Hambones present an overview of the album's themes and historical relevance to the American Songbook and perform all the tracks in song order as per its original release on Columbia Records. Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks" will be presented for one night only, Saturday July 9th, at 7:30pm in the Bridge Street Theatre Speakeasy, 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill. Tickets are $15, $10 for patrons age 21 and under, and go on sale at the door one half hour prior to the performance. For more information, visit BridgeSt.org or call 518-943-3818.

About The Hambone

Formed 3 years ago, the Hambones continue to evolve and refine a truly unique musical palette, drawing on influences both urban and rural, to deliver a sound which, for lack of a better term, should be called "Roots-Plus Rockin"...

The band is nothing if not versatile - their songlist of over 80 tunes includes:

Classic Rock - the Beatles, Stones, Who, Chuck Berry, Grateful Dead, Elvis, Wilburys

New Country - Luke Bryan, Joe Nichols, Frankie Ballard, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney

Traditional Country - Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Jerry Lee Lewis

Rhythm & Blues - Fats Domino, Delbert McClinton, Taj Mahal

Blues - Stevie Ray Vaughn, Muddy Waters, John Mayall, Robert Cray

Folk/Rock/Roots - Bob Dylan, John Hiatt, the Band

Adding to this all-encompassing repertoire, the Hambones will soon be releasing a CD of original material, which the band performs in New York City and play in concert the entire album "Blood on the Tracks" by Bob Dylan.
