One of Broadway's brightest stars comes to Irvington for an evening of show tunes and more! Sutton Foster will give a concert at the Irvington Town Hall Theatre on Sunday, December 12 at 7:30.

Sutton Foster won the Tony, Drama Desk, Critics Circle and Astaire awards as best actress in THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE. She was recently seen on Broadway as Princess Fiona in SHREK THE MUSICAL, a role for which she received a Tony nomination. She has also received Tony nominations for her roles in the Broadway productions of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and LITTLE WOMEN: THE MUSICAL. Sutton starred as Inga in Mel Brooks' musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. She has performed in concert at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. T-V includes 'Law & Order: SVU,' The Disney Channel and HBO. In March 2011, Sutton will star on Broadway as Reno Sweeney in ANYTHING GOES.

Michael Rafter will be Sutton's accompaniest. Michael received the Emmy Award for his musical direction of GYPS on HBO starring Bette Midler. On Broadway, he has served as musical director/conductor for THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, THE KING & I, and GYPSY. He provided musical arrangements for the Broadway productions of SWING and SWEET CHARITY and colaborated with Sutton on her first solo CD, the recently released 'Wish'. Opening for Sutton Foster will be Jason Summers, a favorite of Westco's audiences whose show business career has taken him around the country from Westchester to the White House.
