Gateway Releases Statement Regarding Current Public Health Concerns

The Gateway in Bellport has released a statement regarding current public health concerns:

"On behalf of our administrative staff, box office agents, front of house staff, creative personnel, teachers, actors, and crew, I want to thank you for your patronage. I also want to personally remind you that we have always addressed the health and safety of our patrons, students, and staff with extreme care and attention. We realize how important cleanliness is during these times.

In line with the decision of the New York City Broadway League, all performances will continue as scheduled. To offer you additional peace of mind, we have added theater, lobby and bathroom sanitizing before and after each performance, including the places patrons touch most, the arm rests, the back of seats, and door handles.

We have significantly increased the frequency of all cleaning and disinfecting in all public, backstage, and classroom areas beyond the standard daily schedule. We have added alcohol-based sanitizer dispensers for public use in the lobby, as well as dispensers in classroom areas and backstage for the cast and crew. We also encourage patrons and students to make use of soap and paper towels, available in all restrooms.

We thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we move thru the spring into our exciting upcoming summer season.

Sincerely,

Paul Allan

Executive Director"
