Eddie Brill Will Lead Stand-Up Comedy Workshops at Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill
Events are on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.
Bridge Street Theatre is inviting stand-up comedians to take part in two small-group comedy workshops with veteran comedian and longtime comedy booker Eddie Brill on Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3.
Brill spent 17 years working on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” including 11 years as Stand-Up Talent Coordinator, where he evaluated and booked comedians for national television. Over the course of his career, he has worked with hundreds of performers, helping them refine their material and better understand what connects with an audience.
Each one-day, five-hour intensive is limited to just 10 participants, creating a focused, working environment where comedians will:
- Perform their current set
- Receive direct, detailed feedback
- Ask questions about structure, delivery, and material
- Leave with clearer, stronger material
Workshops will take place from 12:00pm to 5:00pm each day at Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill. Registration is $150 per participant, with space strictly limited.
In addition to the workshops, Brill will appear in a stand-up performance on Saturday, May 2 at 7:00pm, alongside his son, comedian Dan Madonia.
All events take place at Bridge Street Theatre, 44 West Bridge Street, Catskill, NY.
