Carly Jibson Brings New Show To Joe’s Pub 11/16

By:

‘Cry-Baby's Carly Jibson brings her new show, ‘Not a Bitch...Not Yet a Woman', to Joe's Pub on November 16. In her new show, Jibson will share "her experiences from growing up in a small Michigan town to making her Broadway debut at 19 and discovering along the way that dreams are just as easy to create as nightmares," according to press notes.

The musical evening will be comprised of classic rock songs, and feature a six-piece rock band and back-up singers. Appearing with Jibson will be Caissie Levy (Hair). The show is directed by Noah Himmelstein. Musical direction and arrangements are by Darren Ledbetter.

Jibson played Pepper Walker in the 2008 original Broadway production of ‘Cry-Baby.' She appeared as Tracy Turnblad in the 2002 Broadway production of ‘Hairspray' and went on to tour with the show in 2003.

The show begins at 11:30PM. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.joespub.com or by calling (212) 967-7555.
