CRT Downtown Hosts 2nd Annual CREATIVE CORTLAND Visual Art Gallery
Cortland Repertory Theatre's Grand Hall Theatre temporarily turns from the performing to the visual arts as they host the 2nd annual "Creative Cortland" Art Gallery from February 28 - March 8. The downtown arts center becomes a cultural hub of visual artistry, displaying paintings, photography, sculpture and more from the very best of Cortland's own artists, including students, amateurs and professionals.
Art enthusiasts can be the first to see the gallery at the Gala Opening on Friday, February 28 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Attendees can meet and mingle with the artists while enjoying hors d'oeuvres by Central City catering and a beer/wine cash bar. Admission to the Gala Opening is $10.00.
For the next week, the gallery will be open daily for casual viewers. Viewing hours will be Saturday/Sunday: noon - 5:00PM and Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, through March 8. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5.00 to help offset the production costs. For more information, call the CRT Box Office at 607-756-2627.
