You stand at the intersection of Steve Frame and the Western Rebel Sound. It’s a dance floor that keeps moving all night long. It’s a modern twist on old school country & western music. It’s where Buck Owens and Bob Wills meets Steve Earle and Chris LeDoux. Steve puts his unique signature on the music that he knows and loves so well. And in 2013, Steve took his Western Rebel Sound across the Rockies, playing at great events like Cheyenne Frontier Days, NIC Fest, College National Finals Rodeo, and many other venues and events.
Growing up in Georgia, Steve dreamed of writing a great country song and hearing it on the radio. Knowing only one way to do that, he packed the truck and headed to Nashville, Music City USA, in 2000. Over the next decade, he developed a style that garnered airplay not only in the US, but in Australia and Europe. His songwriting has been complimented by Country Music People in the September 2009 issue. Steve’s own recording of his song “Lonelytown” grabbed some airplay across the Lone Star State. Steve has been a guest on Opry Star Spotlight on WSM-AM, the flagship of country radio. He has played across the country in nightclubs and dancehalls. He played CMA Fan Fest in Nashville, where he had the privilege of leading the back up band for country legend Johnny Rodriguez. And bringing it all full circle, Steve moved west in 2011, where he calls Casper, WY, home when he’s not on the road “tearin’ pavement, clutchin’ coffee, and shiftin’ gears”.
