Hailed by the Connecticut Post as “an absolutely sparkling soprano,” Catherine Viscardi Savery was most recently heard singing Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate and the Poulenc Gloria with the Bozeman Symphony under the baton of her husband, Matthew Savery. She has sung with opera companies and orchestras from Oregon to Florida, as well as Italy and Sweden.
On the concert stage, Ms. Viscardi Savery has been featured as soloist in the Mozart Requiem, the Bach Magnificat and the Mozart Exultate Jubilate, as well as Handel’s Messiah. Ms. Viscardi Savery has received numerous honors including 1st place in the Jenny Lind Competition, 1st place in the Mannes and Vassar Concerto Competitions. She holds music degrees from Vassar College (NY) and Mannes College of Music (NY).
