The 2017 College National Finals Rodeo is on its way to Casper this June. Come support the NIRA Foundation in providing scholarships to CNFR participants at the 14th Annual Style Show at the Parkway Plaza Hotel and Convention Center on Saturday, June 17 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Although the event is called a style show and the audience is entertained by the CINCH All Star Contestants displaying clothing donated by CINCH and Cruel Girl, the focus is on generating funds for the Foundation. The live auction and silent auction generate $15,000 to $20,000 each year for this worthy cause.

The Foundation was created in 1994 within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code to carry out certain educational and charitable activities in connection with the sport of collegiate rodeo.

A few activities include: Injured Athlete Relief Fund, Historical Preservation Fund, Scholarship Fund, and Rawhide (Rodeo Athletes on Wellness) Fund.

There will be door prizes, wine on each table, games and raffles, and many auction items, including a CNFR rifle! Each college rodeo region brings in items unique to their area which gives attendees the opportunity to acquire items not otherwise available in Casper.

Tickets to the Style Show are $30 each or $300 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased at the Casper Events Center Box Office, charge-by-phone at (307) 577-3030 or (800) 442-2256, online at www.CasperEventsCenter.com or www.CNFR.com. The style show is sponsored by CINCH.

The nation's best college cowboys and cowgirls from eleven different regions will enter into the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR) arena June 11 - 17, 2017. The CNFR is the best of the best of college rodeo. It is where the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA) crowns individual event champions in saddle bronc riding, bare back riding, bull riding, tie-down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, barrel racing, breakaway roping, and goat tying. National team championships are also awarded to both men's and women's teams.

Visit www.collegerodeo.com or www.CNFR.com for more info on the NIRA and the CNFR or https://www.facebook.com/CollegeRodeoFinals for more information on the contest.
