Theatre summer camp in Tampa, FL
The Carrollwood Cultural Center is a nonprofit arts center in Carrollwood Village in Tampa, Florida, operated through a partnership between Hillsborough County and the Friends of Carrollwood Cultural Center. Its summer day camp serves children ages 4 to 10, who explore a different theme each week through art, music, dance and drama in a structured, supervised setting. Camps are grouped by age into 4-5, 6-8 and 9-10 sessions, and the center also runs summer intensives for ages 11-16, where campers use a theme as the basis for their own staged production and teens 14-16 additionally explore lighting and sound design. The center's campus on Lowell Road includes a main building with a stage, dance floor, art studios, computer lab and conference rooms, plus a second building, The Studio, used for classes, performances and gallery displays. The 2025 camp season was run in partnership with Hat Trick Theatre Productions.
