About this camp
Mountain Camp Woodside is a co-ed summer day camp near Palo Alto, set on the 63-acre campus of Woodside Priory School in Portola Valley, California, and now in its 50th summer. The camp serves incoming kindergarten through 10th graders across one- and two-week sessions running from early June through the end of July, with a Cub Camp for the youngest campers, a Pre-Cub option for 4-year-olds in selected sessions, and a Counselor-in-Training program. Its minimal-technology, non-competitive program is designed to build confidence and independence while campers try new activities and make friends. Extended-day options and semi-private swim lessons are available for additional fees. The camp is ACA accredited and a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps.
Day Camp serves incoming 2nd-10th graders (8:50am-4:35pm); Cub Camp serves incoming K-1st graders (8:50am-3pm); Pre-Cub Camp for 4-year-olds runs in Sessions Two and Three. A CIT program is offered in Session Three. Extended Cub Camp and PM Extended Camp to 5:30pm are $150 per week each; semi-private swim lessons are $300-$350 per week. A $75 non-refundable registration fee applies.
