About this camp

Gods & Monsters & Myths Acting Camp is a half-day summer camp for ages 7-12 at Metropolitan Performing Arts in Vancouver, Washington. Campers arrive at Camp Half Blood, meet their cabin mates, discover their godly parent and work with their cabin on a performance built around Greek gods, myths and monsters. The 2026 session runs August 10-14 from 1 PM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, at MPA's new Main Street location, and costs $190. Students can pair it with a morning camp for a full 9am-4pm day. MPA is a volunteer-run non-profit and southwest Washington's home for theatre education and community theatre, offering training for children and adults in acting, dance, singing and theatre tech alongside its production season. Scholarships are available by application.

Half-day afternoon camp, 1 PM - 4 PM Monday through Friday. Students may enroll in both a morning and an afternoon camp to stay at MPA from 9am-4pm; families pack a lunch and a quiet activity for the supervised hour in between. Need-based and merit scholarships (Julian Wehde and Emily Skeen funds) are available by application, with volunteer hours creditable toward tuition at $30 per hour.
