After a few terrific benefit performances in 2014, DeBlanks is DeBack!

Author/director Billy Mitchell brings monthly performances of his comedy whodunit Villain: DeBlanks, to The Laurie Beechman Theatre beginning February 18.

The brilliant casts will include Olivier Award-winner Lesli Margherita (Matilda the Musical), Tony Award-winner Cady Huffman (Revolution in the Elbow..., The Producers), The Skivvies' multitalented duo Nick Cearley & Lauren Molina, author & theater reviewer Peter Filichia, "Fansies" favorite Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), and many more wildly uninhibited performers.

Philip DeBlanks is dead, and one of the hooligans onstage did it. But who?

The audience provides nouns, adjectives, desserts and body parts, and the actors provide the laughs - uncensored and unrehearsed - as they enact the story using words you put in their mouths. It's "Clue" meets adult "Mad Libs," performed by some of the funniest people in New York.

Like a ride to summer camp in the back of a station wagon, every unrepeatable performance is ridiculously one-of-a-kind, and - best of all - 10% of each show's proceeds will benefit a charitable organization.

February 18: Brendan Applegate, Bridget Dunn, Mark Dunn, Benjamin Holmes, Erin Flanagan Lind, Liza Poor. 10% to benefit Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America.

March 9: Klea Blackhurst, Bobby Cronin,?Ben Fankhauser,?Peter Filichia,?Cady Huffman,?Leslie McDonel. 10% to benefit Wednesday's Child.

April 6: Nick Cearley, Bernard Dotson, Lesli Margherita, Lauren Molina, Jim Newman,Nancy Opel. 10% to benefit ASPCA.

*Performers subject to change.

Presented in association with La Vie Productions/R.Erin Craig.

Villain: DeBlanks plays the Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd St.) on Feb. 18, March 9 and April 6 at 9:30 pm. There is a $15 cover charge and $20 food and beverage minimum. Tickets and information are available at villaindeblanks.com.
