Cavern Club Theater Presents LORI AND THE BOYS, 5/11-13
Lori Donato, internationally-known singer/pianist/entertainer and recording artist returns to the Cavern Club Theater with a brand-new version of her hit show LORI AND THE BOYS, starring Tod Macofsky, Sal Sabella, and Jay Winger. This new ensemble "Cabartainment" is devised and directed by Rob Bowers, whose exceptional talent included not only staging the piece, but also creating some spectacular vocal arrangements.
The show features music and lyrics from more than 50 songwriters, such as Gershwin; Carmichael; Schwartz; Ahrens & Flaherty; Bernstein; Allison; and Kern representing Musical Theatre, the American Songbook, and Pop Hits. Dishing up everything from comic tales to heart-felt ballads, all seasoned with delightful humor and tasty sassiness, LORI AND THE BOYS shares a musical banquet highlighting Friendship, Piano Bars, and "Arrangements-While-U-Wait" while celebrating the joys and importance of community.
Tickets are $20. The show runs Friday and Saturday, May 11th & 12th at 9 pm and Sunday, May 13th at 7 pm.
