Merritt Wever may have delivered the shortest Emmys acceptance speech of all time at last night's 65th Annual Primetime EMMY AWARDS on CBS. After picking up the award for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series award, the visibly shaky star of "Nurse Jackie" actress, simply stuttered, "Thank you so much. Um, I gotta go. Bye."

Backstage, the 33-year-old actress told reporters, "I want to thank a lot of people; it's happening again. I wanted to thank everybody at Showtime. I wanted to thank, most of all, Edie Falco. I wanted to thank Edie Falco very badly. It's very hard to do those! Sorry."

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER's Neil Patrick Harris, was telecast live coast-to-coast last night, September 22nd (8 PM ET/5 PM PT) on CBS from the NOKIA Theater L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
