This morning, the man behind both "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm", Larry David, sat down with TODY's Matt Lauer to discuss his new Broadway play, "Fish in the Dark".

David has similarities to George Costanza in "Seinfeld" and "Larry David" (the character, not the actor who plays him) in "Curbed," and his new play features a Larry-David-like character, this time struggling with social norms during the seven-day Jewish mourning ritual of shiva. FISH IN THE DARK, the new comedy written by and starring Larry David, is running for an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, June 7 at the Cort Theatre. Opening night is Thursday, March 5. The comedy, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, also stars Rita Wilson, Rosie Perez, Jayne Houdyshell,Ben Shenkman and Lewis J. Stadlen, heading a cast of 18. The production has scenic design by Todd Rosenthal, costume design by Ann Roth, lighting design byBrian MacDevitt, sound design by Rob Milburn and Michael Bodeen, and original music by David Yazbek..

FISH IN THE DARK, is performed Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 2pm and Sunday at 3pm. Beginning Tuesday, March 11, Tuesday and Thursday performances will begin at 7pm.
