THE BUTLER to Serve Weekend Competition with $25M; Leaves KICK-ASS 2, JOBS and PARANOIA Holding the Door
Deadline.com reports that Lee Daniels' THE BUTLER, with megastar Oprah, served its competition at this weekend's box office, with a nearly $9 million opening on Friday and heading toward $25 million or more by Sunday.

The first KICK-ASS film opened to $19.8 million in 2010, faring not much better than its sequel.
Open Road's Steve Jobs biopic JOBS, starring Ashton Kutcher, took just $2.4 million on Friday, with an anticipated $6.7 million weekend gross.
Finally, in last place at No. 10 is PARANOIA with Liam Hemsworth and Harrison Ford, which drew just $1.3 million on Friday and is shooting for $4 million for the weekend.
