CBS's THE TALK, recently nominated for five Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment, will return to New York City for the second time this season for a week of episodes, to be broadcast Monday, May 13 - Friday, May 17 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET/1:00-2:00 PM, PT/CT), on the CBS Television Network. Co-hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler will shoot on location in New York, originating from Studio 42 at the CBS Broadcast Center.

THE TALK, network television's fastest-growing daytime talk show, features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is co-hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, how-to demos and appearances from extraordinary people with stories that engage and inform. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.

Recently, CBS swept the 2013 Daytime Emmy Nominations with 49 nods. CBS Daytime's entire entertainment lineup was honored, with The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful both receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. The Talk was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show, Entertainment; THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET'S MAKE A DEAL were both nominated for Outstanding Game Show; and LET'S MAKE A DEAL host Wayne Brady was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.
