Deadline.com reports that Seth Green has joined the cast of director Steve Barron's DELETE. Filming is currently underway in Vancouver for the mini-series which co-stars Keir Gilchrist, Matt Frewer, Janet Kidder, Erin Karpluk, Gil Bellows and Ryan Robbins.

Green will portray 'Lucifer', decribed as "a cross between Gene Hackman in Enemy of the State and Wikileaks’ Julian Assange." The four-hour miniseries takes place in the not too distant future when "the World Wide Web has turned on mankind." Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie wrote the project's screenplay.

Green is the creator and executive producer and most-frequent voice on Adult Swim's Robot Chicken, where he is also a writer and director. He's starred in the feature films, "The Italian Job," "Party Monster," "Can't Hardly Wait," "Without a Paddle" and all three "Austin Powers" films, among many others.  He is also well known for his role as Chris Griffin on Fox's "Family Guy" and previously as Daniel "Oz" Osbourne in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and "Greg the Bunny." He also voices Lieutenant Gibbs in Titan Maximum and Jeff "Joker" Moreau in the Mass Effect video game series.
