Sam Reid's Lestat to Perform One Night Concert at the Beacon Theatre
Played by Reid, the vampire rock star will take the stage to perform original music from the AMC series following a special screening of the premiere episode.
The Vampire Lestat, the immortal rock star played by Sam Reid in the AMC series, will take over New York City's Beacon Theatre on June 2 for The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only - LIVE.
Played by Reid, Lestat will take the stage to perform original music by series Composer Daniel Hart for a live performance following a special screening of the premiere episode. The event will be open to fans with limited, complimentary tickets available beginning Wednesday, May 6 at 12am midnight ET here.
The premiere event kicks off a fan-first campaign for The Vampire Lestat, premiering Sunday, June 7 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+. The series, previously titled Interview with the Vampire, adapts the best-selling series of novels by Anne Rice.
In the new season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by “muses” from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.
In addition to Reid, The Vampire Lestat stars Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, DELAINEY HAYLES and Jennifer Ehle and is executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
AMC Global Media and Lakeshore Records recently released infectious tracks “Long Face,” “All Fall Down” and a cover of Billy Idol’s “Dancing with Myself” on the Vampire Lestat artist profile pages at major digital music services, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. The song’s original music and lyrics, by series’ composer Daniel Hart and performed by Reid, will be featured throughout the series with additional new tracks to drop in the coming months.
