According to the NYPost.com, a potential discrimination suit against former reality star Cindy Barshop has been dropped.  Barshop is the owner of the 'Completely Bare Spa' in New York and appeared on the last season of Bravo TV's REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NEW YORK.  Barshop was not invited to return to the reality show for the upcoming season of the series.

According to the report, a former spa employee, Altovise Collier, had filed a complaint with the NY Division of Human Rights, claiming that she was unlawfully fired by Barshop because she was an African American. In the complaint, Collier claimed that employees of the spa often joked that the only reason she was hired was to “inject some color” into the upscale salon.

However the case was dropped due to Collier's failure to produce sufficient evidence to support her claim of discrimination.  Referring to the case's dismissal, Barshop commented, “I’m so happy that the truth has come out. I’ve never looked at people based on race, religion, creed, or color. I see people for who they are.”
