Pablo Schreiber Joins CBS's A GIFTED MAN

According to a report by Deadline.com, Tony nominee Pablo Schreiber is et to oin previously announced Patrick Wilson and Jennifer Ehle as a series regular in CBS' 'A Gifted Man.'

The series is the brainchild of Susannah Grant, who is perhaps best known for her Oscar-nominated screenplay for the 2001 film Erin Brokovich. Deadline.com reports that Wilson will play a very competitive surgeon whose live is altered when his ex-wife (Jennifer Ehle) dies. The show, directed by Jonathan Demme ("The Silence of the Lambs"), will tape in New York as per Wilson's requirements for taking the part.

Schreiber is best known for his dramatic stage work and for his portrayal of the Polish-American character Nick Sobotka on HBO's Baltimore drug-related crime drama The Wire. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in Awake and Sing! on Broadway, and for doing audio work for books on tape. He appeared in the movies The Manchurian Candidate, Lords of Dogtown and Happythankyoumoreplease. He also had a guest role on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and currently appears in the FX series Lights Out. In 2011, Schreiber starred in the Off-Broadway play Gruesome Playground Injuries at Second Stage Theatre.
