Ovation continues its critically acclaimed programming block "The Best You've Never Seen" with the U.S. premiere of BLACKOUT. The three-part mini-series ends tonight, November 5 at 8:00 p.m.ET/5:00 p.m. PT.

BLACKOUT stars Christopher Eccleston (The Shadow Line, Dr. Who) as Daniel Demoys, a corrupt, alcoholic city councilman who wakes up covered in blood after a blackout and slowly realizes he may have beaten a man to death in a booze-fueled rage. Demoys seeks legal advice from his sister, an attorney in a high-profile murder trial. When he blocks a bullet intended for a young witness, he is transformed overnight into a reluctant hero, who must weigh the opportunity of redemption against the danger of discovery. Dervla Kirwan (Injustice, Ballykissangel), Lyndsey Marshal (Titanic, Rome) and AnDrew Scott (Sherlock, The Hour) also star.

BLACKOUT was produced by Red Production Company. The Producer is Matthew Bird and Director is Tom Green. Executive Producers are Christopher Aird for BBC and Nicola Shindler for Red Production Company. BLACKOUT was written by Bill Gallagher.

"The Best You've Never Seen" is Ovation's showcase of originals and U.S. premieres. Recent productions include WHAT TO DO WHEN SOMEONE DIES and BOUQUET OF BARBED WIRE.
