Oprah Winfrey and Rainn Wilson ("The Office") will explore one of life's big questions in an all-new special "Oprah Winfrey and Rainn Wilson Present SoulPancake" premiering Sunday, December 16 at 12:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Rooted in Wilson's popular "SoulPancake" short films created for OWN's Emmy Award-winning "Super Soul Sunday," the special offers viewers quirky, thought-provoking, and uplifting interviews and vignette segments contemplating the universal question "what is love?"

Hosted by Winfrey and Wilson, the special explores the fundamental longing for love, how to sustain love, how love changes us physically and how we can put more love out into the world. Highlights include a candid view of love with Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon, an expert interview with one of the nation's top heart surgeons, Dr. Kathy Magliato, a profile of an inspiring Los Angeles schoolteacher teacher, Millicent "Mama" Hill and her students and a viewer generated look at love around the globe.

Immediately preceding the special is an all-new episode of "Super Soul Sunday" featuring best-of-moments from the show and exclusive, never before seen footage in which Winfrey asks thought leaders including Wilson, Deepak Chopra, MariAnne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, Gary Zukav, Wayne Dyer, Iyanla Vanzant, Thich Nhat Hanh, Dr. Eben Alexander, DeVon Franklin and others some of life's big questions from 11-noon ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

"Super Soul Sunday" delivers a thought-provoking, eye-opening and inspiring block of programming designed to help viewers awaken to their best selves and discover a deeper connection to the world around them. Home to Oprah's Book Club 2.0, "Super Soul Sunday" features exclusive interviews and all-new conversations between Oprah Winfrey and top thinkers, authors, filmmakers and spiritual leaders.
