NBC Late Night Shows Score Victories Over CBS, ABC Timeslot Competition

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers," which aired its telecasts from Washington, D.C., handily outperformed their timeslot competition in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories for the week of Oct. 10-14.

At 11:35 p.m. ET, "The Tonight Show" drew a 0.80 in the adult 18-49 demo for the week and, once again, easily ranked as the #1 talk show across broadcast and cable in 18-49 and total viewers (3.167 million). Encores of CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" earned a 0.51 in 18-49 and 2.271 million in total viewers, while "Jimmy Kimmel Live" recorded a 0.49 in 18-49 and 2.165 million in total viewers. Note that "Kimmel" aired a Friday rebroadcast.

At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Seth Meyers" earned a 0.45 in 18-49 and 1.609 million viewers for the week with his week of telecasts originating from Washington, D.C., The 1.609 million viewers makes this Meyers' top weekly total-viewer average, excluding weeks with NFL lead-ins, in seven months (since the week of Feb. 29-March 4, 0.48 in 18-49, 1.644 million viewers overall).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.29 in 18-49, 930,000 viewers overall) also generated its most-watched non-NFL week in seven months (since Feb. 29-March 4, 936,000) and equaled its top-rated week in 18-49, excluding NFL nights, in eight months (since Jan. 18-22, 0.32)
