TVGuide reports that Matthew Perry will reprise his role of Mike Kresteva on ABC's THE GOOD WIFE next season. The actor currently stars on the new NBC comedy GO ON which premiered last night.

In an interview with Zap2It.com, the actor revealed that he signed on to appear on The Good Wife the same day he learned that NBC had picked up GO ON for their fall schedule. Commenting on his Good Wife character, Perry noted, "I'd never played an all-out bad guy before. The fact that he was basically a sociopath, a guy who would lie to your face, was just so much fun to play."

The actor went on to say that he is excited about revisiting the character of Kresteva this season. "Before Go On got picked up, [the Good Wife showrunners] had plans for it to be a much bigger character. I was going to do nine or 10 episodes, but I know I'll be able to go back and do one or two. I wish I could do both shows, but you just can't. So far, the two episodes they've given me are some of the best writing I've encountered."
