MARRIED WITH CHILDREN Spin-Off Series in the Works!

During an interview with E! at the premiere of his former co-star Christina Applegate's new comedy 'Vacation', David Faustino revealed that a spin-off series based on the hit FOX comedy, MARRIED WITH CHILDREN is in the works.

"Sony has it. They're excited about it," said the actor who portrayed son Bud Bundy on the show."They're working on some legal issues that we hope they work out." He continued, "The whole cast, including Christina, is down to do little bits in it."

Said Applegate, who played daughter Kelly on the hit FOX series, "All of us have said we would all be there for [Faustino]."

MARRIED WITH CHILDREN aired for 11 seasons and featured a dysfunctional family living in a fictional Chicago suburb. The show, notable for being the first prime-time television series to air on Fox, ran from April 5, 1987, to June 9, 1997. It was created by Michael G. Moye and Ron Leavitt.

In 2008, the show placed #94 on Entertainment Weekly‍‍?'?‍s "New TV Classics" list.
