TVLine reports that MAD MEN's Ben Feldman will be joining the second season of The Mindy Project as one of Mindy's new love interests. He will appear in multiple episodes.

"He's an arts and culture writer and a bit of a snob -- he kind of looks down on Mindy's taste," executive producer Jack Burditt told TVLine.

Feldman's other TV credits include Drop Dead Diva, Medium, Living with Fran and more. He appeared on Broadway in The Graduate in 2002.

Heading into its sophomore season, THE MINDY PROJECT, is a single-camera comedy from Emmy Award-nominated writer/producer and New York Times best-selling author Mindy Kaling ("The Office") that follows a skilled OB/GYN (Kaling) trying to balance both her personal and professional life.

Cast of the comedy includes Mindy Kaling as Mindy; Chris Messina as Danny; Zoe Jarman as Betsy; Ed Weeks as Jeremy; Ike Barinholtz as Morgan; and Beth Grant as Beverly.

The Mindy Project is produced by 3 Arts Entertainment in association with Universal Television. The series is created and written by Mindy Kaling. Kaling, Howard Klein, Matt Warburton, Michael Spiller and Jack Burditt are executive producers.
